Community Guidelines

These guidelines help keep Chebacco360 useful, safe, neighborly, and focused on the lake community.

1

Be respectful

Treat neighbors, visitors, volunteers, moderators, and local organizations with respect.

2

Keep it lake/community related

Posts should relate to Chebacco Lake, the watershed, nearby community activity, fishing, wildlife, safety, events, photos, or useful local information.

3

No harassment or threats

Do not intimidate, threaten, bully, stalk, shame, or target other users.

4

No spam or scams

Do not post scams, deceptive offers, repetitive promotions, fake listings, or unrelated advertisements.

5

Use accurate categories

Choose the best category for sightings, fishing reports, hazards, events, photos, lost and found, or lake observations.

6

Respect privacy

Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, personal information, or identifying information about others without permission.

7

Be careful with safety claims

Hazard, ice, water, algae, and wildlife information may affect real-world decisions. Be accurate, clear, and honest about what you personally observed.

8

Report hazards responsibly

Use hazard reports for real safety concerns such as rocks, debris, unsafe ice, algae concerns, downed trees, or navigation risks.

9

Only upload permitted media

Photos and videos should be your own or used with permission.

10

Use location privacy wisely

Choose hidden, approximate, or exact location depending on the sensitivity of the report.

11

No illegal activity

Do not use Chebacco360 to coordinate, promote, or encourage illegal activity.

12

Moderation decisions

Moderators may remove content, hide posts, restrict accounts, or take other action to protect the community.
