These guidelines help keep Chebacco360 useful, safe, neighborly, and focused on the lake community.
Be respectful
Treat neighbors, visitors, volunteers, moderators, and local organizations with respect.
Keep it lake/community related
Posts should relate to Chebacco Lake, the watershed, nearby community activity, fishing, wildlife, safety, events, photos, or useful local information.
No harassment or threats
Do not intimidate, threaten, bully, stalk, shame, or target other users.
No spam or scams
Do not post scams, deceptive offers, repetitive promotions, fake listings, or unrelated advertisements.
Use accurate categories
Choose the best category for sightings, fishing reports, hazards, events, photos, lost and found, or lake observations.
Respect privacy
Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, personal information, or identifying information about others without permission.
Be careful with safety claims
Hazard, ice, water, algae, and wildlife information may affect real-world decisions. Be accurate, clear, and honest about what you personally observed.
Report hazards responsibly
Use hazard reports for real safety concerns such as rocks, debris, unsafe ice, algae concerns, downed trees, or navigation risks.
Only upload permitted media
Photos and videos should be your own or used with permission.
Use location privacy wisely
Choose hidden, approximate, or exact location depending on the sensitivity of the report.
No illegal activity
Do not use Chebacco360 to coordinate, promote, or encourage illegal activity.
Moderation decisions
Moderators may remove content, hide posts, restrict accounts, or take other action to protect the community.
